Question 1

Who is BAS built for?

Accepted Answer

BAS is designed for retail business owners, supermarket operators, traders, and pharmacies across Nigeria — from single-branch shops to multi-branch operations. It provides automated inventory control, POS checkout, customer wallets, financial reporting, staff management, and pharmacy prescription & expiry tracking.

Question 2

Can BAS work for businesses with multiple branches?

Accepted Answer

Yes. BAS is a web-based SaaS that supports multiple branches. Each branch operates independently while syncing with a central database, allowing business owners to monitor stock, sales, and performance across all locations in real time.

Question 3

Does BAS POS work without internet?

Accepted Answer

Yes. To prevent sales losses during network downtime, the sales dashboard continues running offline and automatically syncs sales and inventory with the cloud once the connection is restored.

Question 4

How does BAS prevent staff from manipulating stock or stealing?

Accepted Answer

BAS includes role-based access control, PIN approvals for sensitive actions, random daily stock checks, and complete immutable audit trails for all stock, sales, and price changes.

Question 5

How does BAS handle pharmacy drug expiry and low stock?

Accepted Answer

BAS monitors batch numbers and expiry dates automatically, sending alerts when medicines are nearing expiration or stock falls below reorder thresholds, prioritizing near-expiry stock during dispensing to eliminate financial losses.

Question 6

How does the customer wallet work in BAS?

Accepted Answer

Every customer automatically gets a wallet when added to the Client Book. The wallet tracks advance deposits, bulk payments, credit sales, and repayments in real time, enabling instant repeat checkouts and improving customer retention.
